FIRE & EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
Fire and Emergency Medical Services are provided to the residents of Indian Head Park by the Pleasantview Fire Protection District. The Pleasantview Fire Protection District services the villages of:
- Burr Ridge
- Indian Head Park
- Portions of unincorporated Cook County
The Pleasantview Fire Protection District's mission is to protect and enhance the quality of life for our residents, employees, and all who visit, through aggressive and comprehensive programs directed towards fire prevention, public education, and code enforcement while providing the highest quality emergency scene management for medical, fire, hazardous material, and disaster emergencies.

The PFPD Headquarters or Station #1, is also known as the Jack Rocher Administration Building. Station #1 houses the main-line response units ans support vehicles which consist of an ambulance, truck, the shift battalion chief, the hazmat squad, the tanker, and the brush unit. Our Chief, Deputy Chief, Administrative Staff, Training, Fire Prevention, and Dispatch teams are all centralized here. The Joe Samec Training Room is also housed here, where most of training occurs, and our PFPF Board of Trustee Meetings are held.

PFPD's Station #2 was originally built in 1958. This station houses a 75'-One Quint, a Hackney Hazmat Squad, and a Hackney Air/Rehab Squad.

Station #3 is the most recent station, being built in 2007. A 100' E-One Engine, and a Medtec Ambulance are housed here.
