Leaf Collector

The Village of Indian Head Park Annual Fall Leaf Program will begin on Monday, October 8, 2007. The Public Works Department crews will begin collecting leaves during the following established schedule, weather permitting.

October 8th to October 22nd

Indian Head Trail, Cherokee Drive, Big Bear Drive and Court, Thunderbird Drive, Mohawk Court, Sioux Trail, Apache Drive, Arrowhead Court, 70th Place, Eastern Avenue, 65th Place, Laurel Avenue, Howard Avenue, Acacia Lane, Wolf Road, Indian Ridge Condominiums, Acacia Townhome Development, Wilshire Green Association.

October 23rd  to November 6th

Vine Street, Arrowhead Trail, Indian Wood Lane, Sequoya Lane, Hiawatha Lane, Plainfield Road, Timber Ridge Court, Keokuk Drive, Blackhawk Trail, Pontiac Drive, Shabbona, Tecumseh Lane, Cochise Drive, Osceola Trail, Glenbrook Lane and Court, Ashbrook Lane, Edgebrook Lane and Court.

November 7th to November 21st

PLEASE NOTE: All leaves should be placed within five- feet (5') of the edge of the curb to prevent roadway hazards. Please do not place leaves in curb gutters as they may impede or clog the flow of rain water into the storm sewer collection system. Please be sure not to mix branches, grass clippings, garden waste, dirt or other foreign debris in the leaves. Also, refrain from putting leaves along the roadway prior to your scheduled pick-up dates. If you utilize a landscaping service, please feel free to share this information with them.
