The Village Board and Staff of Indian Head Park would like to extend a very special thanks to Heidi Lopez. When Heidi joined the Village Board two years ago to fill a vacancy, she "volunteered" to take on the new web page. After hundreds of hours of her time, all as an unpaid volunteer, what you see here is the fruit of her labor. Her commitment to the Village is greatly appreciated. Her personal commitment to quality is apparent in everything she does. Heidi is leaving the Board and we will truly miss her kindness, tenacity, and devotion to public service.
Thank you Heidi Lopez!
Before the area, now known as Indian Head Park, became a village, it was one of the last camp sites of the Native American tribe, the Potawatomie.
